Summary

As a CDL Driver, you will play a crucial role at RNDC by ensuring the timely and safe delivery of products to our customers while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service. You will also have the opportunity to collect non-cash payments as necessary, contributing to the financial transactions associated with the deliveries.

In this role, you will

1. Properly conduct pre and post trip inspections, noting any vehicle defects. Abide by DOT hours of service rules and regulations for your license type.
2. The potential for dedicated overnight routes exists.
3. Accurately deliver invoiced products by bottle, case, pallet, or hand-stack from the delivery truck and place merchandise into customer accounts.
4. Verify receipt of correct order with the customer by checking product type and size against the invoice, obtain customer signature, and process payment if necessary.
5. Ensure the physical security of the truck at all times.
6. Deliver to approximately 19 accounts daily, up to 30 during increased activity.
7. Cover approximately 160 miles daily, with occasional increases to 200-300 miles.
8. Possibility to work with one or more helpers.
9. Provide feedback to transportation management regarding routes.
10. Utilize a smartphone for HOS software and driver monitoring programs.

What You Bring To RNDC

1. High school diploma or GED.
2. Preferably two years of delivery experience and/or training; or equivalent education and experience.
3. Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
4. Current Class B CDL license (Class A allowed), ability to meet insurance requirements.
5. Ability to obtain DOT medical certification and file appropriately.
6. Alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) License, as required by the state.
