Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a CDL Class A Driver for local routes with a home-daily schedule. The role offers a $2,000 sign-on bonus and a pay structure starting at $29.00/hour with an additional $1.00/hour shift differential and overtime after 40 hours per week.

You will drive a 53’ tractor-trailer, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and communicate with dispatch to ensure on-time deliveries. The position emphasizes safety, reliability, and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months CDL experience with same or larger equipment in last 3 years.

Pay rates starting at $29.00 plus $1.00 shift differential per hour plus overtime pay available after 40 worked hours per week.

About the role

As a CDL Driver, you’ll not only drive our equipment, but you’ll also drive our success! You’ll play a key role in ensuring safe, on-time delivery of goods for our customers, running local routes that get you home daily.

What you’ll do on a typical day

• Drive 53’ tractor trailer in and around the site or on public roads
• Drive safely and adhere to all safety policies and practices
• Perform routine inspections
• Communicate effectively with dispatch

What you’ll need to succeed at GXO

At a minimum you’ll need:

• 6 months of Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) experience operating the same type of equipment needed for this position, or larger, in the last 3 years
• Must be at least 21 years old
• A current valid CDL A driver’s license and an acceptable MVR

It’d be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience moving multiple types of trailers (tanks, vans, flatbeds)
