Job summary

Apache Mills, Inc. is seeking a CDL (Class A) Truck Driver to join our 1st Shift Transportation Team in Calhoun, GA. The role requires a valid Class A license and knowledge of DOT rules, with a Monday–Friday 6:00am–2:30pm schedule and occasional Saturday overtime.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A driver's license.

• Willingness to work weekends/overtime as needed.
• Commitment to safety and quality with good housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class A tractor on the 1st Shift Transportation Team.
• Work Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm with overtime on Saturdays as required.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Maintain safety, quality and housekeeping in all areas.

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a CDL (Class A) Truck Driver to join our 1st Shift Transportation Team. This position is regularly scheduled for Monday - Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm,require overtime Saturday as needed.

The position requires (this is not a complete job description):

• a valid Class A driver's license
• general knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
• no MVR violations within the last 5 years
• demonstrated experience operating a manual transmission tractor
• working extended hours to include weekends when business needs require
• ensuring good housekeeping of all areas on company premises
• meeting or exceeding company quality standards
• a demonstrated attitude of safety and quality as top priorities
• maintaining regular and predictable attendance
• complying with company processes and procedures
• following verbal and written instructions
• standing, walking, lifting, bending, stooping, climbing ladders and reaching while handling material or products
• working cooperatively, courteously, and respectfully with all team members, vendors, and visitors
• performing job duties in variable weather conditions (including hot weather)
• successful completion of drug and background screenings
