Job summary

Apache Mills, Inc. in Calhoun, GA is seeking a Lift Truck Operator (LTO) for our fast-paced receiving operations. The position is Regular Full-Time on the 1st shift, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with overtime including Saturdays.

You will operate a lift truck safely, inspect equipment daily, complete the certification, use scanning equipment, and work to meet quality standards while maintaining attendance and housekeeping. Benefits include health, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k) and employer matching; EOE.

Qualifications

• Lift truck operation experience in a manufacturing/receiving setting.
• Daily lift truck inspection and safe operation.
• Ability to pass lift truck certification exam.
• Familiarity with scanning equipment and AS400 system.
• Willingness to work overtime, including Saturdays.
• Regular and predictable attendance required.
• Follow procedures and maintain housekeeping.

We are currently seeking a Lift Truck Operator (LTO) for our fast-paced receiving operations. This position is regularly scheduled for Monday - Friday, may require overtime to include Saturdays.

The position requires the ability to (this is not a complete job description):

• operate a lift truck safely in a fast-paced manufacturing and receiving environment
• inspect a lift truck daily to ensure equipment is maintained and safe to operate
• pass successfully the lift truck written certification exam and demonstration of safe operation
• utilize the scanning equipment and acquire general knowledge of the AS400 system
• work extended hours to include weekends when business needs require
• meet or exceed company quality standards
• maintain regular and predictable attendance
• comply with company processes and procedures
• follow verbal and written instructions
• stand, walk, lift, bend, stoop, and reach while handling material or products
• work cooperatively, courteously, and respectfully with all team members, vendors, and visitors
• perform job duties in variable weather conditions (including hot weather)
• ensure good housekeeping of all areas on company premises
