PositionSummary:

AClassADriverwillsafelyoperateGWDand/orleasedCommercialMotorVehicle(CMV) to pick up and deliver goods and equipment to multiple retail locations in the Dallas area. Complete trailer swapsasassigned.Localdailyrouteswillbe assignedto ensurethe timely and efficientflow ofgoods. The shift will be a minimum of twelve(12) hours and will be scheduled for nights

EssentialDutiesandResponsibilities:

• DeliverandpickupgoodsandequipmentfromGWDretaillocations.
• Safelydelivertruckloadswithintheassignedtimeframe.
• Ensurescargoisproperlyloaded.
• MustsafelysecureandtransportemptyequipmenttoGWDlocations.
• Alwaysusesafedrivingpractices.
• Completedailyinspection reports and report all defects to Dispatch and/or the Supervisor.
• Completedailyroutesasassigned.
• MaintaincontactwithDispatchandtheSupervisorforroutingandinstructions.
• Transportmerchandiseinasafe,efficientmanner.
• Collaboratewiththeteammembersatthelocationtosafelyloadvehicles.
• NotifythesupervisorandDispatchofallunplannedstopsoranyactionthatwould interfere with the assigned routes.
• Mustbepunctualandhavedependableattendance.
• Performsotherdutiesasassignedbymanagement.

AdditionalResponsibilities:

• Demonstrateprofessionalismandpresentsafriendly,cooperativeattitude.
• Adheres to all GWDPolicies & Procedures, Loss Prevention & Safety Regulations and GWD Guiding Principles.

• ResponsibleforupdatingallrequiredDepartmentofTransportation(DOT) documentation.
• Responsiblefor beingontimetoensurethebeginningofshifthuddleisattended.
• Must be able towork10 to 14 hrs. per day, four(4)days a weekwith flexibility to work a 5thday as needed.
• Abilityto workwithminimalsupervision,makequickdecisions,andworkina team- oriented, fast-paced work environment.
• MustmaintainanappropriateappearanceandadheretoGWD’sdresscode.
• Mustconductworkinasafemannerandreportallaccidentsand/orinjuries immediately.
• Adherestolocal,state,andfederallawsandregulations.
• Musthavereliabletransportation.
• Freefromdrugsandalcohol.

MinimumQualifications:

• Highschooldiplomaorequivalentpreferred.
• MusthaveavalidClassATXDriver’sLicense.
• One(1)totwo(2)yearsofdrivingexperienceispreferred.
• Hours of Service (HOS) knowledge andexperience and managing driving logs is required.
• Abilitytocommunicate,readandwriteinEnglish.
• Goodtimemanagementandorganizationalskills.

PhysicalRequirements/WorkEnvironment:

The ability to continuously stand/walk for the duration of a shift, frequently push/pull, occasionallybend/stoop/crawl/kneel/reachabove shoulders andclimba ladder. Able to lift, up to, 40lbs. (fixture parts, cartonsof product) and occasionallymoveup to 100 lbs.

Anindoorworkenvironmentwithexposuretooutsidetemperatures.Thenoiselevelin the normal work environment is, usually, moderate.
