Job summary

White Cap is seeking a CDL A Driver to join our team at Grand Prairie, TX. This role involves delivering products to customer jobsites and may include forklift-assisted unloading. You will follow DOT regulations and ensure paperwork accuracy, with a focus on safety and reliability.

The position offers Monday–Friday shifts with no nights, weekends, paid holidays, and comprehensive benefits. A valid CDL A license and clean driving record are required; warehouse support duties may be assigned as

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year CDL driving experience with required state license.
• Two years of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites.
• Possibly unload shipments using a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback).
• Follow DOT regulations and maintain safety.
• Ensure manifests and paperwork are accurate.

A CDL A Driver at White Cap...

• Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites.
• May use a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer jobsites.
• Follows DOT regulations in accordance with vehicle maintenance and operates with a strong sense of safety.
• Ensures that manifests and all paperwork are accurate.
• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
• Has a minimum of one year of CDL Driving experience and required state license.
• Performs other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Have a current Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state in which the candidate resides with all the relevant endorsements required for the type of equipment being operated (i.e., Hazardous Material to transport hazardous materials that require placarding)
• Two years of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations preferred
• Forklift certification preferred
• Spanish language proficiency
