Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Indiana is seeking a CDL Class A Driver for a home daily, 2nd shift position (Tuesday–Friday, 5:00pm–3:30am). You\'ll drive local routes, perform yard spotting with no-touch freight, and uphold safety policies to ensure on-time deliveries.

Starting pay is $27.25 per hour with a $2.00 differential; after 90 days, the rate increases to $27.75 with the same differential. Overtime applies after 40 hours; benefits include health insurance, 401(k), life insurance, and disability.

• 6 months of CDL experience operating a day cab single/double axel in the last 3 years.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• A current valid CDL A license and a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate yard spotter and day cab vehicles.

About the role

As a CDL Driver, you’ll not only drive our equipment, but you’ll also drive our success! You’ll play a key role in ensuring safe, on-time delivery of goods for our customers, running local routes that get you home daily.

What you’ll do on a typical day

• Perform routine inspections
• Communicate effectively with dispatch

What you’ll need to succeed at GXO

At a minimum you’ll need:

• 6 months of Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) experience operating a day cab single/double axel in the last 3 years
• Must be at least 21 years old
• A current valid CDL A driver’s license and a safe driving record

It’d be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience moving multiple types of trailers (tanks, vans, flatbeds)
