Management & Training Corporation (MTC) operates the Centennial Job Corps Center in Nampa, ID. The role involves keeping vehicles clean, transporting passengers and materials, and following government and management directives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year related experience and general knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
• A valid Commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger endorsement and an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Keep vehicles in a clean and orderly condition and operate vehicles to transport passengers and materials.
• Operate light trucks and buses, transport passengers and/or packages, and adhere to schedules.
• Maintain required driver records and reports.
• Inspect vehicle equipment daily and report repairs as needed.
• Promote positive customer service and support student employability programs.

What you will be doing:

You'll be responsible for keeping vehicles in a clean and orderly condition and for operating vehicles for the purpose of transporting passengers and materials, in compliance with government and management directives.

Essential Functions

• Operate light truck, busses and passenger vehicles; transport passengers and/or packages; ensure adherence to established schedules.
• Maintain required driver records and reports.
• Perform routine vehicle equipment inspection daily, including lights, breaks, mirrors, steering, and other required operating equipment; recommend mechanical repairs as needed.
• Promote and support positive customer service through the facility.
• Participate and promote student employability programs and activities.

Education And Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year related experience and general knowledge of vehicle maintenance are also required.
• A valid Commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger endorsement, and an acceptable driving record.
