White Cap is hiring a CDL A or B Driver in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will coordinate and deliver products to customer job sites using a truck-mounted forklift. A commitment to safety and a minimum of one year of driving experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of CDL driving experience and required state license.
• Current Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License with endorsements.
• Two years of commercial driving experience compliant with FMCSA and DOT regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver products to customer job sites.
• Use a truck-mounted forklift to unload shipments at customer job sites.
• Follow DOT regulations and ensure safety in operations.
• Maintain accuracy of manifests and other paperwork.
• Assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders if needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver products to customer job sites.
• Use a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer job sites.
• Follow DOT regulations in accordance with vehicle maintenance and operate with a strong sense of safety.
• Ensure that manifests and all paperwork are accurate.
• Assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment (if needed).
• Have a minimum of one year of CDL driving experience and required state license.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License issued by the state of residence with all required endorsements for the equipment operated (including hazardous material placarding).
• Two years of commercial driving experience compliant with FMCSA and DOT regulations (preferred).
• Forklift certification (preferred).
• Spanish language proficiency (preferred).
