Job summary

A leading insulation supplier in Ohio seeks a full-time Delivery Driver (CDL A) responsible for delivering insulation products on schedule, ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate must possess a valid CDL (Class A) license, a DOT Medical card, and at least two years of driving experience. This position includes responsibilities such as loading/unloading trucks, processing delivery paperwork, and maintaining vehicle standards. Job Title: Delivery Driver (CDL A)

This is a full‑time position. As a Delivery Driver (CDL A) you will be responsible for delivering insulation products to job sites according to a schedule. You will ensure on‑time delivery and professional interaction with customers at delivery sites. Additionally, you may be required to assist in the warehouse with production and moving materials and products.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads trucks of products and materials.
• Ensures truck maintenance standards are met.
• Performs daily pre‑trip inspections.
• Completes daily DOT logs in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Processes paperwork such as tickets and bills of lading.
• Ensures the customer’s signature on the receipt of material and collects on COD charges.
• Verifies material counts are correct upon delivery.
• Move, pick up, and drop off trailers.

Requirements

• Valid CDL (Class A) license in compliance with company policy and DOT regulations, required.
• Valid DOT Medical card.
• Two years of verifiable experience driving a tractor/trailer, required.
• As a condition of continued employment, employees working in a position requiring driving as an essential function of the job, are required to maintain a valid license, and an acceptable driving record as per our insurance provider’s requirements.
