Job summary

Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, LLC is hiring a Distribution Driver Helper to support delivery drivers and learn the distribution business. We provide CDL training to help qualified candidates get licensed and start their journey as professional drivers.

As a full-time role in our distribution network, you will assist with route deliveries, stay safety-focused, and participate in monthly safety meetings while building a career with an industry leader.

Qualifications

• CDL training provided to help qualified candidates obtain a license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products as invoiced to specified licensed retailers.
• Check-in invoiced orders with customers in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Collect and return all payments as required.
• Account for all invoices of merchandise delivered and merchandise returned.
• Collect empty boxes to be used for redelivery, as needed.
• Ensure delivery logs are completed as required.
• Ensure check-in procedures are followed daily.
• Attend monthly safety meetings.
• Take only safety courses and other classes as needed.
• Report all moving violations to management.

Southern Glazer’s offers a competitive compensation package with an hourly pay rate of $20 / hour. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.
