Markjames in Seattle seeks a hands-on field operator to support the daily operations of a shared electric vehicle fleet. You will be assigned to one of two shift blocks, performing Move/Deploy/Retrieval tasks with shared trucks and battery swaps using your own vehicle, all while representing the brand in the local community.

This 6‑month 1099 contract starts immediately, with a minimum of 40 hours per week and overtime paid at 1.5x beyond 40 hours.

Formación

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
• Own reliable, insured, working personal vehicle (mandatory).
• Able to lift, carry, load, and unload up to 65 lbs repeatedly throughout a shift.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding work.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Available for the assigned shift block (Block A or Block B), including weekends as required.

Pay Rate: $25.00-28.00/hour. Additional hours beyond 40 per week are paid at 1.5x the base rate ($37.5-$42.00/hour).

Engagement Type: 1099 independent contractor. You are responsible for filing your own taxes.

Schedule: Full-time. Operators are assigned to one of two shift blocks, 5 days a week with weekends as scheduled. Block A: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM (8-hour shift). Block B: 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM (7-hour shift). Block B hours are fixed by warehouse battery hours and are not flexible.

Contract: 6-month 1099 contract, with opportunity for long-term extension based on performance and business needs.

Role Overview

Shift Blocks

Block A: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (8‑hour shift), 4 operators

Block B: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (8‑hour shift), 4 operators

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
