FedEx Freight, Inc. in Des Moines, IA is seeking a driver to proficiently operate tractor-trailer combinations and to perform related duties at service centers and turn-points. Responsibilities include stopping at docks, safe pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintaining logs.
Occasional non-driving duties may include forklift operation, warehouse tasks, and adherence to DOT and hazardous materials regulations. Strong safety and teamwork are essential in this role.
Starting Rate of Pay: $ 25.64 per hour
Through education and driving skills development, become proficient in the operation of a tractor trailer combination, picking up and delivering trailers between service centers and/or turn-point locations. Responsibilities may include non-driving duties such as forklift operation and working the dock.
