This apprenticeship emphasizes safety compliance, daily inspections, and collaboration with Dispatch and the Operations Manager to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to interact with the public, understand traffic signs, respond to official questions, and complete records or reports.
• Commercial or Non-commercial Driver's License Class C or D.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial refuse/recycling vehicle after training.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and document checks.
• Communicate with Dispatch or Operations Manager regarding incidents or service interruptions.
• Assist with loading/unloading and backing maneuvers as needed.
