Job summary

Circuit is hiring a Driver Ambassador in Whittier, CA. You’ll drive electric shuttles, greet riders, share local tips, and help ensure every ride is friendly and safe.

We’re seeking drivers with at least three years of safe driving and a valid license, plus a passion for customer service. The job offers full-time hours, an $18/hour base plus tips, and benefits after 3 months.

Qualifications

• Three years of safe driving experience with a valid driver’s license.
• Passion for customer service and excited about showcasing the community.
• Ability to use technology such as an iPhone, GPS, and other apps.
• A chauffeur’s license or experience driving commercially is a plus.
• CDL or ADA vehicle experience is a plus.
• Ability to work nights and weekends is a plus.
• Comfortable with varied weather conditions and outdoor work.
• Ability to stand, sit, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide a valuable service around the community while ensuring locals and visitors can reach destinations safely.
• Create an enjoyable riding experience by welcoming passengers with a smile and making rides memorable.
• Ensure safe, efficient, and fun rides with excellent customer service.
• Drive a variety of electric vehicles including shuttles; some may have limited power steering.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness with pre- and post-ride inspections.

As a Driver Ambassador, you’ll be behind the wheel of our super cool electric shuttles, cruising around the city in our mapped out service area. But it’s not just about driving – you’ll also be the ultimate ambassador for the community, sharing fun facts, pointing out local hotspots, and hidden gems. • Provide a valuable service around the community while making sure locals and tourists get to where they need to go safely.
• Create an enjoyable riding experience by welcoming passengers with a smile and making their ride awesome.
• Assure safe, efficient and fun rides to the general public while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Drive a variety of electric vehicles including GEMS, Sedans and Vans (some vehicles with or without power steering).
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness by doing pre and post vehicle inspections.

Shift Times Available

• Wednesday - Sunday (2:00PM - 10:30PM)

Requirements

What Do You Need to Bring?

• 3 years of safe driving experience and a valid driver’s license required
• A passion for customer service and excited about showcasing the community
• The ability to use technology such as an iPhone, GPS, and other applications
• A chauffeur’s license or experience driving commercially is a plus
• We are looking for a variety of drivers, including those with CDLs or experience operating ADA vehicles.
• The ability to work nights and weekends is a plus
• Comfortable working in different weather conditions, including working during summer/winter months
• Must be able to stand, sit, walk and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
• Must abide by vehicle weight and height requirements as per vehicle manufacturer specifications
