Job summary

Juniper is seeking an Agronomy Technician to safely apply fertilization and IPM needs for landscape maintenance properties. You will diagnose turf and ornamental issues, apply pesticides, and maintain records of products used.

Responsibilities include preparing products, operating equipment safely, and ensuring excellent customer rapport. This role requires outdoor work, compliance with label instructions, and a proactive maintenance mindset at Juniper sites.

Qualifications

• Certified Pesticide applicator license is required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR review.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of pesticide, fertilizer, and herbicide products and calibration.
• Knowledge of turf and ornamental issues.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme temperatures and sunlight.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience operating IPM-related tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Identifying, diagnosing, and treating turf and ornamental issues as they arise.
• Applying fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and insecticides to lawns and shrubs per label and safety rules.
• Preparing and mixing products according to label instructions and product specs.
• Ensuring safe operation of tools, vehicles, and equipment; adhering to safety standards.
• Maintaining cleanliness of vehicle and equipment.
• Maintaining accurate records of products used and completing work orders.
• Retention of customers through rapport, communication, and met expectations.
• Using hand and power tools to perform IPM duties.
• Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
