Job summary

Juniper in Katy, TX, is seeking an Agronomy Technician to care for turf and ornamental areas, applying fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and IPM practices while following safety and label instructions. You will prepare and mix products, operate tools and equipment safely, keep records of products used, and communicate with customers to meet expectations.

This role requires adherence to federal, state, and local regulations and a commitment to clean, organized work sites and on-time completion

Qualifications

• Identifying, diagnosing turf and ornamental issues.
• Applying fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and insecticides per label and safety rules.
• Preparing and mixing products per label instructions and safety precautions.
• Maintaining accurate records of products used and completing work orders.

Responsibilities

• Identify, diagnose, and treat turf and ornamental issues as they arise.
• Apply fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and insecticides as needed to lawns, shrubs and plant material according to regulations.
• Prepare and mix products per label instructions and safety directions.
• Ensure safe operation of tools, vehicles, and equipment; maintain cleanliness.
• Maintain accurate records and complete all required correspondence for work orders.
• Perform IPM duties using hand and power tools as needed.
