Job summary

VSE Aviation is seeking a qualified individual to perform duties in aviation or logistics support. The role includes daily inspections of trucks and trailers, operating a forklift for loading and unloading equipment, and ensuring compliance with federal, local, and OSHA procedures.

You will document pick-up and delivery, service vehicles, and maintain clear communication across divisions to guarantee timely deliveries and pickups.

Responsibilities

• Inspect Truck and Trailer daily and report findings to ULD Production Manager.
• Inspect straps and ratchets for serviceability.
• Operate Forklift to load and unload equipment.
• Operate vehicle in accordance with federal and local regulations.
• Operate vehicle within the customer facilities including inside the SIDA area.
• Accurately document the pick- up and delivery of material on receipt books turning in to the ULD Production Manager.
• Service the vehicle with Fuel, DEF and Oil as required.
• Maintain effective communication with all divisions to ensure the completion of all deliveries and pickups.
• Safely transport all packages and parts, ensuring timely delivery to the correct locations.
• Inspect and operate company and customer forklift IAW OSHA and company procedures.
