Job summary

ENKEI America Inc. in Columbus, Indiana, is seeking a CDL A driver to join our 2nd shift team. The role involves moving wheels between plants, coordinating with supervisors and other drivers, and performing warehouse duties when not driving.

The position requires regular attendance, the ability to work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, and adherence to safety practices. CDL A is required and shift is 3pm–11:30pm, Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with supervisors and fork truck drivers to determine timing and requirements for moving materials.
• Moves trailers of wheels between plants and the Import Processing Center, Enkei Wheel Corp, Logistics, main facility and NMA.
• Hooks up airlines on tractor/trailer; chocks wheels when loading/unloading; follows safety practices for truck driving.
• May assist in loading/unloading trailers using a fork truck.
• Two drivers per shift rotate duties weekly; fills in as needed for other driver.
• When not driving, performs warehouse duties including loading and offloading trucks and packing shipments.

- Regular attendance and presence at work as scheduled.

-Ability to work an 8-hour day, 5-day week, depending on assigned department schedule

• *This position is 2nd Shift: 3pm-11:30pm Monday - Friday*

- Communicates with supervisors, fork truck drivers of other departments/plants to determine timing and requirements for moving materials

- Moves trailers of wheels from one plant to another for next step in operation, including Import Processing Center, Enkei Wheel Corp, Logistics, main manufacturing facility, and NMA.

- Hooks up airlines on tractor/trailer; chocks wheels when loading/unloading; uses safety practices associated with truck driving

- May help load/unload trailer using fork truck

- Two drivers are assigned per shift and rotate duties on a weekly basis.

- Fills in as needed for other driver.

- When not driving performs warehouse duties including loading and offloading trucks, packing shipments, and other duties as assigned by supervisor
