Job summary

Maryland Environmental Service is hiring a Driver for our PG County Yardwaste facility in Upper Marlboro, MD. The role provides hauling, trucking and equipment operation services to support environmental projects across the state.

The ideal candidate has two years of driving experience and a valid Class A CDL; experience with heavy equipment is a plus. Benefits include health, retirement, paid leave and holidays. Application deadline: February 21, 2022.

Qualifications

• Two years related/commercial driving experience required.
• Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Haul material as needed from MES yards and job sites.
• Operate trucks and heavy equipment in a safe, efficient manner.
• Perform routine pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance.
