Job summary

SRM Management Group in Tampa, FL is seeking a Resident Associate Driver for The Colonnade at Northdale. You will provide safe transportation for independent living and memory care residents, supporting their safety and comfort while assisting with daily activities.

Requires a valid driver's license, a high school diploma or GED, and basic computer skills. This non-exempt role pays $18.00 per hour and involves teamwork with staff and adherence to policies.

Summary:

Enhances and improves the SRIM experience for our residents, families, and visitors, promotes the core value of the Golden Rule, provides safe transportation services for independent living and memory care residents while caring for the personal needs, safety and comfort of our residents as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Speaks to and interacts with residents, families, and visitors while showing empathy, kindness, compassion, and respect.*
• Safely drive both IL and MC residents to Dr. appointments, shopping and other various activities.*
• Communicates effectively in a language that each resident is capable of understanding. *
• Follows written and verbal instructions.*
• Practices good body mechanics and safe working habits.*
• Observes and reports safety hazards immediately to supervisor.*
• Demonstrates an ability to know each resident and family member by addressing by name.*
• Knows, understands, and follows established policies and procedures in emergency situations.*
• Works as a team player with other associates and management in accomplishing work assignments.*
• Demonstrates a positive and respectful attitude about work issues, policies, and procedures.*
• Demonstrates a positive and respectful attitude with residents, families, visitors, associates, and management.*
• Complies with attendance and call off policy.*
• Attends and/or participates in trainings, in-service meetings, and mandatory meetings.*
• Wears clean and appropriate dress per established dress code policy.*
• Refrains from discussing resident care issues with families and visitors, and refers all inquiries to immediate supervisor.*
• Knows, understands, and follows HIPAA regulations.*
• Takes initiative in work, seeks out additional information, and offers solutions/suggestions.
• Takes on special projects or assignments outside of regular duties.

Education/Experience:

Ability to drive company vehicle (van) and golf cart. Must possess a valid state driver’s license. Transportation experience preferred.
