Job summary

Community Services Group in Sunbury, PA, is seeking a part-time Driver to transport individuals to appointments and programs. You will operate a passenger van, perform safety checks, complete MDT entries, and support clients with dignity and respect in a trauma-informed framework.

The role requires 18+ with 2 years of driving experience, willingness to undergo random drug testing, and knowledge of safety rules.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with 2 years of driving experience.
• Must be able to drive a passenger van.
• Willingness to comply with random drug testing procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation services between residential homes, program offices, and employment locations.
• Follow safety and regulatory procedures during vehicle operation.
• Complete vehicle maintenance checks and keep the vehicle clean and in safe condition.
• Document tasks accurately in the Ecolane MDT tablet.
• Support individuals while respecting their rights and dignity.
• Learn and model trauma-informed care principles (safety, choice, collaboration, trust, empowerment).
• Promote cultural, racial, language, and gender access, diversity, equity and inclusion.

The Driver reports directly to the Transportation Supervisor.This position will provide transportation services for CSG’s Northumberland County Adult Mental Health Services Psychiatric Rehabilitation Programs. Programs are located in Sunbury and Shamokin, PA.Schedule: PT (16 hrs./wk.).Monday to Friday Split Shift with Morning & Afternoon Hours.Typical hours can be between 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM with Wednesday evening hours.
