Job summary

AV Fleet in San Francisco, CA seeks drivers for its EV-based rideshare model. You’ll earn a base hourly rate of $20 with tips on top, paid twice a month. The schedule is five days a week with 8.5-hour shifts, and benefits include health insurance, a 401(k), and California paid sick leave.

This is a W-2 role with company-provided vehicle support. You’ll handle inspections, sensor calibration, and route monitoring to train the AV system while delivering safe, courteous service and maintaining a

Qualifications

• Valid California driver’s license
• Two or more years of licensed driving experience
• Driving record that meets insurance standards
• Eligibility to drive on Uber (min age 25)
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Strong communication and customer service instincts
• Availability for full-time evening and/or overnight shifts, five days a week

Responsibilities

• Get passengers where they’re going safely and on time in a company EV
• Run pre-shift and post-shift inspections and flag issues
• Perform sensor calibration and keep sensors clean
• Use navigation and dispatch apps to accept and fulfill rides
• Keep the car charged during your shift at designated locations
• Drive pre-designated routes to train the AV system
• Deliver professional, courteous service to earn tips
• Maintain a polished appearance and collaborate with supervisors and teammates

Whatyou’lldo

What you need

• A valid California driver’s license
• Two or more years of licensed driving experience

The shifts
