Job summary

Chick-fil-A in Rockford, IL is seeking a Delivery team member to provide high-level hospitality through timely, accurate food delivery and professional guest interactions. You will help on-counter duties when needed and support dessert and beverage preparation while upholding brand standards and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Maintains a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to navigate using GPS and the Chick-fil-A delivery app.
• Willing and able to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week with availability that includes Saturdays.
• Willing and able to show up on time and prepared for work each day.
• Willing and able to understand and converse with guests in English.
• Willing and able to lift and carry a minimum of 25-30lbs as necessary.
• Willing and able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours per day.
• Willing and able to meet handbook requirements on hygiene and uniform.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders to Delivery customers promptly and courteously.
• Ensure the accuracy of order items before delivery.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and well-maintained.
• Taking orders on a front counter register and handling cash.
• Fulfilling orders and delivering them to guests in the restaurant.
• Preparing and fulfilling dessert and drink orders (soft drinks, coffee, milkshakes, etc.).
• Serving guests in the dining room (refreshing drinks, clearing trash, etc).
• Cleaning, stocking, and organizing of the restaurant.
• General errands around town may be assigned during off-peak times.
