Job summary

McLane Company, Inc is seeking CDL-A Delivery Drivers for the overnight 3rd shift in Riverside, CA. You will inspect, drive, and deliver to customers, maintaining logs per DOT rules and ensuring safe operations on the road and at customer sites.

We offer $85,000 to $95,000 per year, day-one medical/dental/vision, 4x10 shifts starting 9:30–10:00 PM, and a comprehensive benefits package including life insurance and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Class A CDL license.
• 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, delivering products to customer premises.
• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects and submit DOT inspection reports.
• Maintain driver logs according to DOT regulations (e.g., Manual or Peoplenet).
• Unload products at customer sites; perform related duties as assigned.

What you'll do as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications you'll bring as a CDL-A Teammate:

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
