Job summary

Delaney at Parkway Lakes is seeking a hospitality-focused part-time Driver/Activities Assistant to join our team and provide engaging life enrichment for residents. This role combines transportation with activities support to help seniors enjoy daily life.

Starting pay is $17.00 per hour. You will drive residents to grocery stores, monthly outings, and extended trips, assist with getting on/off vehicles, and perform light housekeeping as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Six months experience with seniors in activities or life enrichment preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Driver's license required with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to grocery store, outings, and extended trips.
• Assist residents on and off bus/van and coordinate equipment.
• Load groceries and other items into the vehicle.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed.
• Support a culture that drives occupancy and revenue through engagement.

This role will perform part time driver and part time activities assistant equalling a full time position

Delaney at Parkway Lakesis recruiting for a hospitality focused part time Driver/part time Activities Assistant to join our team! This position is responsible for transporting residents to grocery store, monthly outings and extended trips as scheduled; assists in performing housekeeping duties as required.

Starting pay $17.00/ hour

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Driver:

• Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
• Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
• Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and wash vehicle.
• May perform housekeeping functions as directed.
• Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Six (6) months experience working with seniors in activities/life enrichment preferred
• The ability to speak, read and comprehend the English language
• Assisted Living Activities: 1 year (Required)
• Driver's License (Required) with good driving record
• Good communication skills (oral and written)
