Job summary

Superior Plus Propane is hiring a Propane Driver in the United States. You will load, transport, and unload propane to customers, ensuring safe handling and excellent service.

The role requires a CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements, a DOT medical certificate, and a willingness to work on-call evenings and weekends. We offer competitive compensation, flexible schedules, and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year delivery driver experience.
• CDL Class A or B with Tanker and Hazmat endorsement.

• Willingness to rotate on-call status during evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Transfer, load, and deliver propane to customers from bulk truck, tanks, and cylinders.
• Maintain a clean, organized vehicle.
• Utilize available technology to monitor propane inventory, tank levels, and generate delivery tickets.
• Maintain equipment to safety standards and document pre/post inspections.
• Collaborate with Dispatcher on routing and scheduling; report issues promptly.
• Overtime may be required as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Propane Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of propane to our customers. The Delivery Driver will deliver, load and unload propane while providing exceptional customer service. Our Delivery Drivers are also accountable for upholding the highest standards for safety in the delivery and handling of propane and for conducting regular vehicle inspections and maintenance.

What you'll do:

• Transfer, collect, load and deliver propane, product to and from containers (bulk truck, tanks and/or cylinders) for customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Leverage technology where available to: Monitor and track the transfer of propane inventory, tank levels and container sizing; accurately record and print delivery tickets for customers for product delivered; accurately complete and submit daily driver report where necessary.
• Maintain equipment to the highest level of safety standards, reporting any mechanical issues to the Fleet Manager/Dispatcher. Conduct and, if applicable document, pre and post vehicle inspections, site inspections and visual tank inspections.
• Collaborate with the Dispatcher frequently for routing and scheduling information. Notify the dispatcher of any product, customer, routing, scheduling or safety issues immediately to obtain their guidance and instruction on how to resolve the issue or situation.
• Employees may be required to work overtime hours when business needs require it.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you bring:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Minimum of 1 year delivery driver experience
• CDL Class A or B with Tanker and Hazmat endorsement
• Current DOT medical certification required
• Willingness to rotate "on call" status during evenings and weekends as needed
