Job summary

Lifespace Communities, Inc. is seeking a Driver for Village on the Green in Longwood, FL. You will transport residents safely, engage with them, and maintain vehicles to ensure reliable service in a community-focused environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid Class B CDL with passenger endorsement preferred, and a clean driving record. Prior experience serving seniors is preferred; CDL may be required for some vehicles.

Qualifications

A Few Details About The Role

• Drive residents safely to scheduled destinations. Track assigned pick-ups and drop offs to ensure timely service.
• Provide for high level of resident engagement.
• Maintain cleanliness of bus and automobiles. Report needs for vehicle maintenance, such as oil changes, fluid levels, belts, batteries, etc.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid class B commercial driver's license with passenger endorsement preferred (CDL may be required for certain vehicles at some communities)
• One-year experience driving for seniors is preferred.
• Must have a clean driving record (no violations)
• Knowledge of traffic and highway safety rules and regulations, and of the precautions necessary to avoid accidents.
