Job summary

Lifespace Communities in Longwood, FL is hiring drivers to transport residents safely and with care, ensuring timely pickups and a high level of engagement. You will maintain clean vehicles and report maintenance needs, while upholding safety standards learned through your CDL and driving experience.

We value a high school diploma, a valid Class B CDL with passenger endorsement (preferred), and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Class B CDL with passenger endorsement preferred (CDL may be required for certain vehicles at some communities).
• One-year experience driving for seniors is preferred.
• Must have a clean driving record (no violations).
• Knowledge of traffic and highway safety rules and regulations, and the precautions necessary to avoid accidents.

Responsibilities

• Drive residents safely to scheduled destinations and track pickups/drop-offs for timeliness.
• Provide a high level of resident engagement and assistance during transport.
• Maintain cleanliness of bus and automobiles; report maintenance needs (oil changes, fluids, belts, batteries, etc.).

• Provide for high level of resident engagement.
• Maintain cleanliness of bus and automobiles. Report needs for vehicle maintenance, such as oil changes, fluid levels, belts, batteries, etc.
