Job summary

Hudson by Avolta is seeking a Warehouse Driver Associate in the New York area. You will deliver items from our Distribution Center to airport terminals, loading and unloading with a focus on safety and schedule adherence.

Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, replenishment pulling, and maintaining accurate driver logs. A valid CDL and clean driving record are essential; flexible, full-time hours including weekends and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Clean CDL License is required.
• Previous truck driving experience is required.
• A valid state driver’s license with an excellent driving record is required.
• Good communication and data entry skills are required.
• Strong scheduling and travel logistics skills are required.
• Ability to continually lift, lower, carry, push, and pull up to 50lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk long distances for 6–8 hours.
• Flexible hours including weekends and holidays are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares truck for operation by inspecting general condition, checking fluids and tire pressure.
• Loads truck by ordering, placing, and securing items.
• Delivers items by identifying destinations and operating the truck to airport terminals.
• Pulls replenishment orders in the warehouse and delivers to surrounding airport locations.
• Maintains truck operating efficiency via preventive maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Keeps delivery records and driver logs up to date.

This Warehouse Driver Associate Job Is For You, If You Enjoy:

Delivers items by preparing, loading, unloading, and operating a truck from our warehouse site to the Airport

Working at our Distribution Center, Rockaway Blvd, springfield gardens.

Your Team is counting on you as a Warehouse Driver to:

Provide flexibility to work any shift, early morning, any day of the week, including weekends & holidays

Work a Full -Time schedule

Warehouse Driver Associate Key Responsibilities:

Prepares truck for operation by inspecting general condition, checking fluid levels and tire pressure, and validating adherence to road ability standards

Loads truck by ordering, placing, and securing items

Delivers items by identifying destinations, operating the truck, unloading items, and maintaining the schedule to the airport terminals

Pulling replenishment orders in the warehouse

Delivering the warehouse product to our surrounding airport locations

Maintains truck operating efficiency by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and obtaining/scheduling required repairs

Maintains safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organization operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations; cleans truck exterior and interior

Maintains delivery, truck, and driving records by obtaining receipt acknowledgments, recording tracking information, and completing driver log and truck performance forms

Updates job knowledge by participating in training opportunities

Required Qualifications:

Clean CDL License

Previous truck driving experience

A valid state driver’s license with an excellent driving record is required

Good communication and data entry skills

Strong scheduling and travel logistics skills

Acute vision

Ability to continually lift, lower, carry, push, and pull up to 50lbs

Ability to continuously stand and walk long distances for 6-8 hours

Ability to work flexible hours: early mornings-weekends-holidays and in a fast paced environment

Be dependable and punctual

Be able to successfully clear a FBI fingerprint based criminal history records check

Previous experience in a warehouse environment

High School Diploma or equivalent
