Job summary

Holiday by Atria - Redwood is seeking a Driver to transport residents to outings and medical appointments in a timely and safe manner. You will operate the bus or other vehicles and ensure vehicle cleanliness and proper documentation.

In this role, you will follow schedules set by the Management Team, stay accessible during shifts, and may take on additional duties as needed within the community. A valid driving record and CDL may be required, with compliance to federal and state regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Provide a copy of motor vehicle driving record prior to employment.
• Must be able to drive the bus or other vehicles and meet driving regulations.
• Operate the bus safely at all times and maintain vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to outings and medical appointments in a timely and orderly manner.
• Drive the bus or other vehicles to destinations as scheduled and safely.
• Be accessible to management during shifts via mobile communication for schedule changes.
• Ensure buses and vehicles are kept clean and presentable.
• Complete paperwork related to duties as required by operations procedures.
• May be assigned to other duties within the community when not driving.

Responsibilities

In the role of Driver you will provide transportation for residents, which may include outings and medical appointments in a timely and orderly manner.

• Drive the bus or other vehicles to and from required destinations while operating the vehicle in a safe manner at all time.
• Schedule destinations of the bus or other vehicles as directed by the Management Team.
• Be accessible to the management team during working hours via cell phone and/or pager or other means in the event of changes to schedule or unforeseen circumstances arise.
• Ensure the bus and/or other vehicles are clean
• Timely completion and submission of paperwork related to the performance of job duties as required by operations procedures, or as requested.
• May be assigned to other job functions in the community when not driving or on a relief basis.
• Other duties as assigned.

Salary Range

The wage range for this position is $19.00/hr - $22.80/hr, dependent on prior work history and experience
