Position Overview:

• Safely transport individuals to and from Salvation Army functions.
• Conduct a pre-trip/post trip inspection daily.
• Record any damages or wear in bus journal and report to Supervisor.
• Report any problems related to the vehicle such as accidents, damage, or passenger difficulties.
• Maintain and clean the interior and exterior of vehicles.
• Participate in drug testing as requested.
• Do special pick-ups only assigned by supervisor’s instructions.
• Responsible for notifying Operations Manager of any parts necessary for upkeep of the vehicles.
• Abide by all applicable driving laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid PA Driver’s License with good driving record; CDL preferred.
• At least 3 years of driving experience.
• Pennsylvania's Child Protective Services Law requires all prospective employees to complete clearance and background checks: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and PA DHS Criminal Record/Fingerprint Check. Completion of a Pennsylvania approved Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting Training is also required prior to employment.
