- Pay Rate: Drivers earn $75,000 to $115,000.

What You’ll Do as a CDL‑A Delivery Driver
- Inspect tractor‑trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
- Inspect bill of lading and verify keys for accuracy during off‑hour delivery.
- Drive tractor‑trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering the vehicle on the road and at customer premises.
- Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures, and exceptions.
- Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications You’ll Bring as a CDL‑A Teammate
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL‑A).
- At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor‑trailer driving experience.
- Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job‑related tasks effectively and safely.
