Job summary

Brunswick in Lake Suzy, FL is seeking an experienced Driver to join our delivery team, supporting the Clearwater route and surrounding areas. We offer an excellent starting wage and a strong benefits package including 401k with company match and profit sharing.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, route management, vehicle inspections, and maintaining safety and compliance with regulations. CDL is preferred but not required; OSHA Hazmat certs may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with prior delivery experience.
• Medical examiner's certificate and ability to maintain a satisfactory driving record.
• OSHA Hazmat certifications (Basic Hazmat, Driver Specific Hazmat) and Security Awareness.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Must be comfortable driving a truck and navigating in minimal access areas.
• Learn multiple delivery routes with varying start times; cover unexpected changes.
• Load, secure and unload products; maintain route schedule with proper documentation.
• Maintain professional appearance and excellent communication with customers.
• Perform pre- and post-delivery vehicle inspections and comply with regulations.
• Demonstrate reliability and attendance; adapt to diverse situations.

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Driver to join our Lake suzy FL team! This position will support the Clearwater route and the surrounding areas. If you have reliable transportation, a strong work ethic, and experience with multi-stop routes, we’d love to hear from you. Essential Functions

• Must be comfortable driving a truck and be to navigate successfully in minimal access areas.
• Responsible for learning multiple delivery routes with varying start times, so flexibility is required to cover unexpected changes.
• Ability to load, secure and unload product safety, and maintain a route schedule. Receive and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery of goods to ensure timely service.
• Professional appearance, with excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Accurate inspection handling of CODs, delivery manifests.
• Vehicle inspection, both pre-and post-delivery, compliance with all federal and state regulations.
• Excellent attendance and reliability are critical.

Required Qualifications

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, balance and use arms and hands to reach, pull, push, clasp and move a variety of materials. The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 lbs frequently.

Salary

The anticipated pay range for this position is $24.00. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
