Job summary

Galleria Woods Senior Living in Hoover, AL is seeking a dependable Part-Time Driver to transport residents to appointments, shopping, and events. This role emphasizes safety, courtesy, and a positive resident experience.

The position offers weekday shifts with some weekends, a pay range of $17-$20 per hour based on experience, and opportunities to earn additional income as shifts become available. CDL preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Valid Alabama driver's license required.
• CDL preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six (6) months of bus, van, shuttle, or passenger transportation experience required.
• Experience working with seniors preferred.
• Dependable, professional, and customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a van, bus, or automobile to meet resident transportation needs.
• Assist residents on and off vehicles, including those using wheelchairs, walkers, canes, or other mobility devices.
• Support resident outings and special events.
• Load groceries and other purchased items into the vehicle.
• Coordinate and schedule routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and maintain assigned vehicles.
• Perform light housekeeping duties as directed.
• Provide exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive resident experience.
