Job summary

Amavida, an award-winning senior living community in Fort Myers, Florida, is seeking a hospitality-focused Full Time Driver to join our team. This role transports residents to grocery stores, monthly outings, and extended trips; assists with housekeeping duties as required; and supports daily activities as scheduled.

The schedule includes Sun 7am–1pm, Mon 7:30am–3pm, Tue–Thu 7:30am–3:30pm, with Fri and Sat off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six (6) months experience as a bus/van driver required.
• CDL C license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
• Assist Director of Life Enrichment, Life Enrichment Manager or Life Enrichment Coordinators in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
• Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and wash vehicle.

Amavida is recruiting for a hospitality focused Full Time Driver to join our team! This position is responsible for transporting residents to grocery store, monthly outings and extended trips as scheduled; assists in performing housekeeping duties as required. The schedule for this position is as follows:

• Sunday 7am - 1pm
• Monday 7:30am - 3pm
• Tuesday - Thursday 7:30am -3:30pm
• Off Friday and Saturday
