Allied Rehabilitation Centers, Inc. seeks per diem drivers to transport passengers to and from employment. You will maintain safety protocols, perform vehicle pre-checks, and report any issues to the Transportation Manager.
Per diem status implies an on-call or varied schedule. The role requires a CT Public Service License or ability to obtain one, a clean driving record, and strong safety awareness across diverse clients.
The Driver assists individuals with disabilities with transport to and from employment.
Reports directly to: Program Director of Vocational Services
Supervisor Responsibilities:Provides support and guidanceto participants seeking employment opportunities.
Ensures passenger and vehicle safety by:
Knowing and following the procedures set forth in the Van Driver Manual.
Maintain a valid public service license and an accident and violation free driving record.
Knowing and following the policies and procedures put forth in the organization's personnel handbook.
Perform other driving assignments as directed by theProgram Director of Vocational Services.
Perform other duties as assigned by theProgram Director of Vocational Services.
Attend and maintain all required trainings.

We are seeking per diem drivers who are available between 6:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. This non-exempt position starts at $18.30 per hour.
