Job summary

Chamberlin Roofing & Waterproofing is seeking a warehouse and delivery associate in Dallas to support field crews. You will keep the warehouse organized, operate equipment, and secure loads for transport while tracking deliveries and reporting hours.

The role requires a valid Texas driver’s license, clean driving history, and strong communication. Knowledge of DOT safety rules is preferred; OSHA 10 is a plus, with opportunities to grow in a fast-paced construction environment.

Job description

This person is involved in the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and deliveries to ensure the field employees have the proper materials and equipment when or before they need it.

Duties

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse facility
• Operation of various industrial equipment such as forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts
• Secure loads to a trailer or in a truck bed
• Track all deliveries in a delivery logbook and report hours/trips upon request
• Report daily hours to assigned superintendents
• Basic knowledge of DOT safety regulations regarding hauling oversized or oddly shaped materials
• Work quickly in a rapidly changing environment such as the construction industry
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and provide proof upon request
• Other miscellaneous tasks and duties to support daily operations of the department and office

Experience

At least 1 year of working experience in driving, warehousing, or roofing trade is a plus.
