Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a friendly and dependable Driver to provide safe, timely transportation for residents to appointments and outings. You will assist residents in and out of vehicles, perform pre-trip inspections, and maintain records while upholding safety standards.

This on-site role requires a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and CPR if required. Excellent communication and time-management skills are essential to ensure comfortable, dignified mobility for

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required; age 21+.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• CPR certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation to appointments and outings.
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles and to destinations.
• Maintain focus on safe driving at all times.
• Conduct pre‑trip and monthly vehicle inspections.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety equipment.
• Complete required driving logs and documentation.
• Report resident changes in condition.
• Follow OSHA, infection control, and safety standards.
• Assist with activities when not driving.

What We’re Looking For

• HS Diploma/GED; age 21+
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to remain calm in emergencies
• Ability to operate wheelchair lift and secure mobility devices

Pay Range

$18.50 - $23.25 per hour
