Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Driver to provide safe, caring transportation for seniors in Beverly Hills. You will transport residents to appointments and outings, assist them in and out of vehicles, and ensure safety and comfort on every trip.

The role requires a HS Diploma/GED, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and CPR if required, along with strong communication and time-management skills. Experience with wheelchair lifts is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• CPR certification may be required.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to remain calm in emergencies and assist residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation to appointments and outings.
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles and to destinations.
• Maintain focus on safe driving at all times.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and monthly vehicle checks.

What You’ll Do

• Provide safe transportation to appointments and outings
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles and to destinations
• Maintain focus on safe driving at all times
• Conduct pre-trip and monthly vehicle inspections

• Complete required driving logs and documentation
• Report resident changes in condition
• Follow OSHA, infection control, and safety standards
• Assist with activities when not driving

You play a critical role in resident safety, reliability, and positive community experiences.

What We’re Looking For

• HS Diploma/GED; age 21+
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• CPR certification (as required)
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to remain calm in emergencies
• Ability to operate wheelchair lift and secure mobility devices
