Job summary

Developmental Connections in Branson, Missouri, is seeking a Transportation Driver to safely transport individuals to and from scheduled appointments, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company rules. You will assist riders with boarding and alighting and handle wheelchair and mobility device securement.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain/maintain Class E.
• Pass a 10-panel drug test and background check.
• Must be flexible with working schedule; split shifts may apply.
• Able to communicate effectively with riders, guardians and staff.
• Computer experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily transportation in a safe and timely manner.

Summary

The Transportation Driver is responsible for the daily Transportation Driver Duties. They will assist in loading, unloading, & transporting individuals safely to and from scheduled appointments in a manner that complies with federal/state/company rules & regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide daily transportation in a safe and timely manner
• Treat riders with respect, dignity, and courtesy; drivers are required to assist all riders on and offthe bus
• Safely secure wheelchairs and other mobility devices and follow all applicable procedures
• Conduct pre-and post-trip inspections, and report issues for repairs
• Complete required documentation and paperwork in a timely manner
• Comply with federal/state/company rules and regulations

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years old
• Have a valid driver’s license and able to obtain/maintain Class E
• Pass 10-panel drug test and background check
