Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking a dedicated driver to transport residents to scheduled trips and events, ensuring safe return to the building and assisting residents in and out of the vehicle. You will also keep the vehicle clean and report any mechanical needs to coordinate timely repairs.

The role requires experience with large vehicles, a valid license, and a careful driving record to support our mission of brightening and enriching lives with HEART.

Qualifications

• Experience driving a large vehicle such as a van, truck, or bus.
• Possess a valid driver's license to operate the building's vehicle.
• Maintain a safe driving record in accordance with company policy.
• Able to drive without being easily distracted by passengers or external factors.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents and perform community errands as assigned.
• Ensure residents are returned safely to the building after transportation.
• Assist residents in and out of the vehicle as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle through regular interior/exterior cleaning.
• Report mechanical needs and assist in coordinating repairs.

Job Description

• Transport residents and perform community errands as assigned.
• Ensure that all residents who use the transportation are returned safely to the building.
• Assist all residents in and out of the vehicle as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle by performing and/or scheduling regular interior/exterior cleaning.
• Report mechanical needs and repairs and assist in coordination to have repairs completed.

Qualifications

• You have experience driving a large vehicle; such as a van, truck, or bus.
• You currently have a valid driver's license to operate the building's vehicle.
• You have a safe driving record in accordance with Senior Lifestyle company policy.
• You are able to drive a vehicle without being easily distracted by talking passengers, and other external factors.
