Job summary

The Waterford at Baytown, a Sonida Senior Living community in Baytown, TX, is hiring a Driver responsible for transporting residents to routed stops and assisting them in and out of vehicles.

You will operate vehicles safely, support activity programs, and report any abuse or neglect. The role requires a valid Texas driver's license; CDL endorsement may be required where indicated. Benefits and training are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Texas driver's license.
• CDL endorsement preferred and required where necessary.
• Ability to bend, push, pull, and lift over 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for picking up and delivering residents to routed stops and assisting them in and out of vehicles.
• Operates vehicles in a safe and clean fashion.
• May assist the Activity Director with in-house activities and setup for programs.
• Ensures residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect; reports such instances.

Driver Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for picking up and delivering residents to the routed stops. Assists residents in and out of vehicles.
• Operates vehicles in a safe and clean fashion.
• May assist the Activity Director with in-house activities, including planning and organizing, arranging furniture, decorating, and the general setup for activity programs.
• Ensures that residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect. Reports any such instance to the Executive Director.
• Acts as a positive representative of the community at all times.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid driver's license. CDL endorsement preferred and required where necessary.
• Ability to bend, push, pull, and ER in excess of 50lbs, as necessary to perform required tasks as assigned throughout the workday
