Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a hands-on specialist to check-in parts and fabricate/assemble drive shafts. You will read blueprints, repair shafts to company standards, operate washing and boxing stations, and maintain a safe, organized workspace. You will also train new hires on equipment use and safety practices to ensure quality results.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, can lift up to 60 lbs, and comply with OSHA safety requirements from day one.

Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to lift and carry parts up to 60 lbs with occasional heavier lifts.
  • OSHA safety shoes and protective eyewear required from day one.

Responsibilities

  • Check-in core parts.
  • Fabricate and assemble drive shafts per blueprints.
  • Read blueprints for custom driveshaft fabrication.
  • Repair drive shafts to company standards.
  • Operate washers, boxing station, and cleaning equipment.
  • Train new employees on proper use and safety of equipment.
  • Follow up to ensure results are achieved.
  • Keep work area clean and storage areas compliant with safety regulations.

Partner with the best in the heavy-duty industry and apply today!Essential TasksCheck-in core parts.Fabricate and assemble drive shafts.Read blueprints when furnished by the customer for special fabrication and assembly of the driveshaft.Repair drive shafts according to company standards.Operate washers and other cleaning equipment as well as boxing station.Train new employees on the proper use and maintenance of equipment and facilities utilized in the performance of their job. Follow-up to ensure results are achieved.Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.SkillsCommunicating: Conveying information to others in an effective manner.
