Job summary

FleetPride in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a warehouse Associate to support shipping operations for branch and customer orders. You will pull, organize and prepare orders for delivery, stock inventory, and help maintain a safe, organized warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, weighing materials, and reporting damaged items; prior forklift/reach truck experience is required. This is a full-time, inside/outside role with varied temperatures and safety gear provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years in shipping, receiving, inventory control and stock replenishment.
• Forklift and reach truck experience.

Responsibilities

• Pull and organize branch and customer orders for delivery from warehouse by part number and quantity as directed by picking ticket in priority assigned.
• Load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms or lifting devices.
• Stock and maintain inventory items in designated warehouse storage areas.
• Weigh materials or products and record weight and other production data on tags and labels.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.

Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.EDUCATION & TRAININGHigh School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCEMinimum of 2 year experience in shipping, receiving, shipment auditing, inventory control and stock replenishmentForklift and Reach truck experienceSKILLS & ABILITIESHandling of normal stock will include lifting or carrying parts in excess of 60 lbs. up to 15% of the time.
