Job summary

FleetPride in Florida seeks a driveline technician to fabricate, assemble and repair drive shafts and related components in a non climate-controlled shop. You will read blueprints, operate shop equipment and ensure workmanship meets company standards.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, welding experience, and a mechanical background, with the ability to lift 50 lbs and pass background/drug tests. Training of new staff and strict safety practices are part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble and repair drive shafts per specifications.
• Check-in core parts and read customer blueprints for fabrication.
• Operate washing and boxing equipment and maintain tools and area.
• Train new employees on equipment use and safety standards.
• Follow-up to ensure quality and maintain safety compliance.
