Job summary

Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) seeks an experienced Chassis Driveline Engineer to lead end‑to‑end design and validation of driveline systems for U.S. SUVs, trucks, and off‑road vehicles.

You will work with cross‑functional teams to optimize durability, NVH, and performance while ensuring seamless integration with Hyundai/Kia/Genesis platforms. The role emphasizes CAD modeling in CATIA, FMEA/DFMEA-like processes, and close collaboration with suppliers and in‑house teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical or automotive engineering with relevant coursework.
• Experience in chassis/driveline components and vehicle systems.
• Knowledge of CAD tools and PLM systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop driveline components for 4WD/AWD vehicles.
• Lead validation plans, bench and vehicle tests, and data analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure packaging and integration.
• Create and manage CAD models and engineering documentation.
• Support supplier reviews and design changes throughout programs.
