Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) seeks a Senior Chassis Driveline Engineer to lead design, development and validation of driveline systems for US SUVs, trucks and off-road vehicles. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet durability, reliability and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or automotive engineering.
• 7+ years of professional experience in chassis and suspension design, with a focus on driveline systems.
• Experience with pickup trucks, SUVs, or off-road vehicles is highly preferred.
• Experience with electric or hybrid vehicle suspension systems is advantageous.
• Knowledge of ride, handling, NVH for heavy-duty trucks and SUVs.

Responsibilities

• Lead driveline design and development for 4WD/AWD driveline systems.
• Design and validate axles, shafts, transfer cases and related components.
• Develop and validate differential systems and torque management solutions.
• Plan and execute DVP&R tests and analyze results for improvements.
• Collaborate with Vehicle Dynamics, Suspension, Powertrain and NVH teams.
• Coordinate with OEM and Tier-1 suppliers on designs and changes.
