Job summary

DriveTime Transports is seeking CDL-A drivers for home weekly departures with weekend home time optional. You will run no-touch freight across OH, IN, IL, KY and MI, with a CPM of $0.59–$0.64 and a weekly average of $1,300–$1,500 plus a $40 bonus for short loads.

Recent truck school graduates are accepted, with strict qualification checks on unemployment gaps and driving history. Both day and night shifts are available in a daytime operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months CDL-A tractor trailer experience, verifiable.
• Trainees from truck schools accepted.
• No more than 3 jobs in past 12 months; no more than 2 MV’s in last 2 years; no serious violations in the last 12 months.
• No DUI/DWI within the past 5–10 years depending on timing of CDL acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL-A tractor-trailer on routes across OH, IN, IL, KY, MI.
• No-touch freight with potential for weekend home time; day or night shifts available.
• Maintain safe driving practices and timely deliveries; comply with company policies.

No more than 1 on-road or DOT preventable loss in the last 2 years. No major preventable accidents in the last 5 years

No DUI/DWI within the past 10 years if the offense occurred while they held a CDL-A or Commercial Learners Permit. No DUI/DWI within the last 5 years if the offense occurred prior to getting a CDL-A
