Job summary

DriveTime Transports is seeking CDL-A drivers for home weekly routes around Detroit. Weekend home time is optional, with day or night shifts and no-touch freight. Trainees from truck schools are accepted, provided you have verifiable CDL-A experience and a clean recent record.

Stay close to home with weekly earnings averaging $1,300–$1,500+ depending on experience, plus $0.15 stop pay and a monthly performance bonus. Accidents reports may be required for past incidents per policy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months CDL-A tractor-trailer experience, verifiable.
• Recent truck school graduates accepted.
• No more than 30 days unemployment in the past year.
• No more than 3 jobs in past 12 months.
• No DUI/DWI in past 10 years under CDL rules.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor-trailer in home weekly routes with weekend time optional.
• No touch freight and stop pay available.
• Follow safety and DOT regulations, report accidents as required.

WEEKLY AVG: $1300-1500+ (CPM $.59-.64 -BASED ON EXPERIENCE PLUS $15 STOP PAY)

NO MORE THAN 30 DAYS UNEMPLOYMENT - NO EXCEPTIONS

NO MORE THAN 3 JOBS IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS

No more than 2 MV's in the last 2 years. No serious traffic violations in the last 12 months.

No more than 1 on-road or DOT preventable loss in the last 2 years. No major preventable accidents in the last 5 years

No DUI/DWI within the past 10 years if the offense occurred while they held a CDL-A or Commercial Learners Permit. No DUI/DWI within the last 5 years if the offense occurred prior to getting a CDL-A
